Dr Elizabeth Khan

Elizabeth A. Khan, MD, LPT

Dr. Elizabeth Khan started her career as a physical therapist, graduating from University of California at San Francisco. After many years working as a licensed physical therapist, she obtained her medical degree at the Medical College of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia. She also completed a year of pain management training at Sloan-Kettering Memorial Hospital, New York, and followed it with a family practice residency at Montgomery Hospital, a Temple affiliate. She is Board Certified in Family Practice and in Pain Management.

Dr. Elizabeth Khan is also a Board Certified Medical Review Officer. Her multiple society memberships include the American Academy of Family Practice, American Association for the Study of Headache, American Pain Society, Pennsylvania Medical Society, and Lehigh County Medical Society.

Dr. Elizabeth Khan is the Medical Director of Tilghman Medical Center. Outside of work, she is married and the mother of four daughters. Dr. Khan is enthusiastic about her exercise and enjoys running and swimming; she has completed a number of 5K Runs and Half-Marathons.

Chris is a distinguished graduate from the nationally recognized DeSales University Physician Assistant program where he earned his MSPAS graduate degree in 2011. He received his undergraduate training at the University of Cincinnati and graduated Cum Laude with a Biology degree in 1985, and also earned an MBA from Cincinnati in 1990. Medicine is a second career for Chris. He was a corporate manager with an information technology defense contractor in the Washington D.C. area for two decades. He said “My family and I gave up everything for me to pursue my true passion. I knew I wanted to practice medicine since I was eight years old. Life circumstance pushed me in other directions, but as my children grew and began leaving the nest I knew it was time to do what I was meant to do.” He started his medical career in Neurology, but yearned to practice Family Medicine. Chris joined our practice in 2013. In addition to Neurology, he brings Urgent Care and Pain Management experience to the table. Chris is also a U.S. Dept. of Transportation Certified Medical Examiner. He has a particular interest in headache disorders. Chris and his wife Cathy live in the Lehigh Valley area. They have seven children, and five grandchildren.

Amory MumbauerAmory Mumbauer, PA-C

Amory Mumbauer graduated from Millersville University with a BS degree in Biology and a Chemistry minor. Upon graduation, she was hired as a Technical Partner for Lehigh Valley Health Network. After one year, Amory returned to school. She graduated from Salus University in Elkins Park, PA with a Master’s in Physician Assistants in 2011. She was hired as a full-time PA-C for Tilghman Medical Center and Comprehensive Pain Centers in October. She is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants.

Amory resides in Berks County with her husband. Outside of work, Amory is actively involved with her church and volunteers with the children’s ministry and worship team. Amory and her husband enjoy camping, four wheeling, and traveling. Her hobbies include scrap booking, reading, and playing board games with friends.
